Last Week’s New Moon in Pisces and Love

If I had a nickel for every person who’s come to me on Pisces New Moons and asked for love spells, I’d be a wealthy woman.  Everyone, calm the freak down. I know it’s not easy, when love changes form, but really and truly – , I promise you – it’s still there.

Last Saturday’s  New Moon at 27 deg and 53 min of Pisces was conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer, (29 Pisces) and people have been feeling the sadness of loss in their lives and, simultaneously, a deep longing (Pisces)  for reuniting with a loved one – whether here on earth or on the astral planes or via mediumship.  Also going on in the stars, we see Mercury about to station retrograde (hence the longing for a return to what was)  in Aries (16 deg on March 22) and Venus at 15 deg Aries, is nipping at Mercury’s heels.   Venus in Aries is always about drama in relationships and rescuing those we love.  She is considered  “in detriment” in this sign – as she is in rulership in Libra. She is in her Warrior form in Aries – and so you are seeing a lot of folks express a desire to fight to retrieve their loves.

Here’s my bit of advice on love spells with Venus in Aries on the brink of a Mercury retrograde in Aries – Cheer up, buttercups, they come back to you on the retrograde and, if they don’t, then it wasn’t meant to be.   Also love spells on a retrograde almost Always reel in folks we really would rather not see.  Believe me – been there, done that.

Finally, a word of advice about the ethics of love spells – you cannot force love.  Love is a gorgeous, elusive energy al unto itself and the gods do not take kindly to forcing it.  And, besides, who wants a zombified lover?  That is just plain wrong and super bad karma, by the way.  You cannot make someone love you.  You can, however, heal your own heart and make peace with how things are in the here and now.

Blessings be your workings and blessed be your communications with those you love.   <3
